Walt Disney World's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Video
Our job on this project was to create a finished audio mix for the promotional video of Walt Disney World’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride. The concept was a nostalgic vintage newsreel presentation. It started with an exhaustive music search that was presented to the client. Then hours in the studio transforming the modern-day digital audio parts into a convincing soundtrack from yesteryear. When Disney posted the finished video to their Facebook page in the first 2 days it received over 16,000 likes. It took off like… wait for it… a runaway mine train!
Disney Cars Land Racing Game App
Working on an app for Disney California Adventure Park is always special. Getting the assignment to create sounds for the Cars Land Racing Game app took things to a whole new level. With Tow Mater hooking and booking various objects encountered on the raceway, we needed to create the sounds of snagging, grabbing, missing, and colliding with all the various objects a player interacts with in the game.
Monsters University "Monstrous Summer"
To cross-promote Monsters University and the Disney Parks, we once again were picked by the great team of web game designers to design and mix the sound for the Monstrous Summer Game. It was a fun and complex blend of interactive sound placement and inserting and enhancing live sound from video clips shot on location at Disney Parks.
DISNEY CRUISE LINE PROMOTIONAL VIDEO
Creating the background audio atmospheres and interface sounds for both Disney Cruise Lines and Disney Vacation Club’s web-based games was quite an adventure. Recording custom sonic textures for each area of the boards and capturing authentic location sound effects was something we took very seriously in order to create a feeling of immersion for the player.

We put our best foot forward on the sound design for Disneyland’s magical interactive on-line Christmas Card. Disney fans could create their very own virtual custom Christmas Card online. One of the various contributions to this project were our Foley performances of all the characters’ footsteps.

Subway Lone Ranger Web Game
When Disney and Subway teamed up to promote the release of The Lone Ranger movie… we got the call to create the sound of Subway’s online game. The game's action was all about the healthy food folks protecting the train from the Greasy Food Gang.
One of the interesting moments in gathering the different sounds for this project was finding just the perfect sound for a player running across the top of a railroad car chasing the bad guys. We spent an afternoon in the hot Arizona sun wearing cowboy boots along with... not jeans but... cammo shorts and tank tops as we broke out in a sweat running and jumping on several wood platforms we custom built to get just the right sound.
Subway "Subtember" Web Contest
For Subway’s national “Subtember” promotion, we crafted a party-like soundtrack for their online contest to enter coupon codes for a chance to win prizes. Using live video footage shot in LA, a crowd of people would dance to Earth, Wind and Fire’s September instrumental until a player entered their coupon number. Then the video would interactively have the crowd either cheer a winning entry or encourage the player to try again. We also added and enhanced the interior sounds and crowd reactions.
